Transforming Lives
Building Hope

Who We Are

Founded by Chief Sunday Babatunde Ajileye, the SIB Charity Foundation is a Nigerian non-profit organization dedicated to creating lasting positive change in underserved communities across Nigeria. We believe in a nation where every individual has the opportunity to thrive, regardless of their circumstances. Our name—SIB—symbolizes our core mission: Support, Inspire, Build.

Our Mission

To uplift underserved communities through comprehensive, sustainable interventions that address immediate needs while fostering long-term empowerment, dignity, and social reintegration.

Our Vision

Driven by a child’s vision of Nigeria—full of possibility—we unite communities, supporters, partners, and governments to fight poverty by uplifting the underserved, restoring hope, and providing essentials.

Our Core Initiatives

Hunger Relief & Nutrition Programs
We combat food insecurity through community food banks, targeted meal programs, and emergency nutrition support, ensuring that basic needs are met as a foundation for growth.
Scholarship Programs for Students
We invest in Nigeria’s future by providing educational scholarships, school supplies, and mentorship to talented students from low-income backgrounds, breaking the cycle of poverty through education.
Support for Widows & Market Women
We empower women through skill acquisition programs, small business grants, and psychosocial support, enabling economic independence and community leadership.
Care for Underprivileged Children
We provide holistic support—including healthcare, educational sponsorship, and recreational activities—to ensure vulnerable children are protected, nourished, and given a chance to dream.
Correctional Inmate Support & Rehabilitation

A cornerstone of our work includes:

  • Rehabilitation Programs: Vocational training and life skills workshops to prepare inmates for productive reintegration.
  • Mental Health Care: Counseling and psychological support to address trauma and promote emotional well-being.
  • Family Visitation Support: Facilitating family connections to maintain crucial bonds and support networks.
  • Reintegration Assistance: Post-release guidance, housing support, and employment linkages to reduce recidivism.

Our Approach

Holistic & Community-Centered
We don’t offer temporary fixes. Our programs are designed to create sustainable impact by addressing interconnected challenges—from poverty and hunger to education and mental health.

Collaborative & Transparent
We partner with local communities, government agencies, and other NGOs to maximize our reach and ensure every intervention is culturally relevant and effectively managed.

Dignity & Empowerment
Every initiative is built on respect for the individual. We work with communities, not just for them, fostering agency and self-sufficiency.
